Office Hours: How My HSI Inspired My Accounting Career

For many in the accounting field, their college or university experience played a key role in their path to success. Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) and Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) specifically, are able to empower their Hispanic and Black students by providing a culturally relevant support system and pool of resources, to build towards flourishing careers. Carmen Jiménez, MBA was able to find her career path, make connections and get the tools she needed to succeed at her HSI alma-mater, The University of Puerto Rico. Carmen is a Senior Associate at Cherry Bekaert and will be joining Ci Ci Hall (HBCU alumna) of Her Campus Media for an informative discussion on how HSIs and HBCUs can impact your career journey and help you reach your dreams.
