About the Position

Support Anthropologie's public relations efforts for the lifestyle brand.  Contribute to the development of PR programs, execution of PR initiatives and product placement activities.

Responsibilities

Editorial

  • Assist in sample request process, and partner with cross functional teams to coordinate the fulfillment of all incoming sample inquiries from media outlets

  • Facilitate sample trafficking and keep meticulous log of all inventory coordinated and sent out for media requests and influencer campaigns

  • Support team in all high-res image requests from media and press partners

  • Partner with buying teams to obtain and confirm accurate product credit information to designer partners, agency partners, influencers and media as requested 

  • Assist in managing and updating the PR team’s media lists and contact database on a continual basis

  • Assist in the development of digital look books and other materials for specific and seasonal requests

  • Develop familiarity with media markets, outlets and influencers, and study industry trends to help assess new opportunities

  • Develop media relation skills and editorial contacts at regional and national levels across the fashion, lifestyle and bridal outlets, including bloggers and influencers at the regional and national level

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track pending credits and communicate to PR and buying teams

  • Monitor for daily coverage, create press clippings and distribute to PR team

  • Support team in management and updating of archived press clippings

  • Compile weekly highlights for company-wide distribution

  • Create monthly reports for distribution to senior leadership

Event Production

  • Assist in event production including venue research and related services

  • Oversee management of invitation lists and RSVP tracking

  • Partner in managing event timelines and deliverables to keep the team on track

  • Coordinate samples as needed

  • Oversee the creation of post-event recaps

Additional

  • Assist with hiring of interns

  • Maintain PR team calendar

  • Oversee management of magazine subscriptions

  • Support basic office management

Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year experience in public relations or relevant internship experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize key projects

  • Self-starter who will thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment

  • Computer proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Power Point

  • Familiarity with Cision media software a plus
