Blue Waters is looking for a new member to join our growing team! We’re seeking a part-time, Long Island NY based, Web Project Coordinator who will work closely with the Blue Waters Marketing Communications team to support our boutique community shopping platform grow our online presence and engagement.

The role involves helping to execute and manage content creation (aka product photography, descriptions, and sizing) and uploading content to the site. You will be the main party responsible for upload and merchandising, ensuring the website is up to date and showcasing our latest styles effectively. You’ll work closely with our buying team, inventory manager, social media lead, as well as our marketing team, and ad partners to ensure a seamless customer experience. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to merge tactical and creative skills. We’re happy to welcome individuals new to website management who are passionate and looking to learn.  This position is hybrid - partially remote and at our studio/warehouse in Deer Park, NY.   

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a Web site task list and makes sure its items are accomplished in a timely manner

  • Assists in web asset creation collection and delivery with individuals across all departments.

  • Responsible for being the liaison with our external partners in Sales and Online Marketing stakeholders to ensure plans are coordinated and responsible team members meet deadlines

  • Assists in reviewing analytics 

  • Assists in web page builds

  • Bonus points if you have inventory management experience

Experience and Education

  • We’re looking for someone mid level - with a minimum 2 years experience in web project management (internships count!). Bonus points if you’ve got a background in inventory management.

  • Solid understanding of web-based management and design tools. Bonus points if you’re familiar with the software we rely on: CommentsSold, Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva, Trello, to name a few.

  • Comfortable with mobile photography

  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop a plus.

  • Process-driven, highly-organized with excellent time management skills.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize, execute tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment and with multiple resources.

  • Must be self-motivated, with the ability to think independently, and proactively, as well as able to collaborate with other team members.

  • An enthusiastic, positive, and committed attitude, flexible problem-solver, open to participating, and growing with the company.

Additional Information

  • Pay: Competitive pay between $14-18 per hour, based on experience.

  • Work Status and Hours: This is a part time, non-exempt position. Flexible working hours, including mornings, late afternoons/evenings and/or weekends
