About the Position

The Social Media Associate Manager is responsible for driving brand equity, brand awareness, and brand acquisition for AnthroLiving’s and Anthropologie Wedding’s organic social channels. 

Within this role, we’re seeking a candidate who will champion and celebrate brand creative and has a passion for home and wedding trends, social strategy, setting and achieving goals, and growing emerging social accounts. The role is responsible for managing and executing the Social Media Editorial Calendar on a weekly and monthly basis and will be the lead to manage all social projects surrounding home and weddings product, in addition to the responsibilities highlighted below.

You will be an integral part of the Marketing team working and partnering closely with cross-functional teams such as Copy, Design, Merchandising, Creative, and Brand to ensure product and message are aligned, with timely and relevant deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage editorial (AnthroLiving and AnthropologieWeddings) calendar consistent with the brand image, goals, and messaging across all channels prioritizing and communicating a weekly and monthly perspective inclusive of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.  

  • Work with the Social Media Manager to formulate weekly Instagram cadence dependent on editorial calendar needs and product priorities.

  • Lead communication with creative project manager, graphic design, copywriters, and merchandising to brief project needs: creative and copy needed to execute weekly content, captions, and tags for Instagram in-feed and Instagram story posts.

  • Partner with merchandise teams to confirm upcoming product deliveries, preferred click-throughs, feature ID opportunities, and inventory availability for all social posts.

  • Assist Social Media Manager in creation of one-pagers, monthly marketing briefs, brand decks, and other requested documents and reports as needed.

  • Lead daily and weekly organic paid strategies to amplify content and acquire new customers for @AnthroLiving and @AnthropologieWeddings to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.

  • Create trackable links and Feature IDs for all product in social posts on Instagram and other channels where applicable.

  • Report and pull social analytics weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually using provided tools and organic platform resources to drive and reflect brand growth goals.

  • Assist in submitting social invoices to the finance team to help maintain monthly team budget.

  • Act as a brand partner to Terrain social team to amplify brand creative and share monthly strategies.

  • Manage communication and deployment of any home or wedding-related social giveaways and sweepstakes with internal teams and partnerships.

  • Stay abreast of the social media landscape, developments, and trends

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the brand’s product, customer and policies.

  • Apply attribution best practices to image usage rights, copywriting & social media posts to ensure legal compliance.

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in social media marketing at a retail/ e-commerce organization or agency 

  • A positive and high energy individual

  • Experience publishing content on major social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Instagram Stories, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube

  • Strong copywriting and proofing skills.

  • Ability to adapt writing tone and style to fit different social platforms and audiences.

  • Attention to detail and proven time management and organization skills.

  • Extremely well organized, methodical, and efficient.

  • Good home product knowledge of channel appropriate trends

  • Strong knowledge of home competitors and ability to analyze trends to identify opportunities to set the brand apart

  • Innovative and excited to bring ideas to the table

  • Self-motivated and proficient at managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong vision and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Awareness of developments and trends in social media and home space

  • Strong multi-tasking and analytical skills; ability to manage through a matrix.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, New Media or related field experience
