About the Position

We are looking for a creative, motivated intern that will join our global Artist Partnerships team. You will help ensure that artists and managers see Spotify as their #1 partner for artist development. You will create and work across partnership opportunities for artists, and work cross-functionally with teams on projects for all genres. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.

Our paid summer internships last for 10-13 weeks and start at the beginning of June. The last day to apply is March 1st, 2023 at 11:59 PM ET.

The United States hourly rate for this position is 27.00 USD (Undergraduate First Year & Sophomores), 32.00 USD (Undergraduate Juniors & Seniors), 44.00 USD (Masters) & 58.00 USD (PhD) per hour plus a one-time intern stipend of 2,253 USD. This position is overtime eligible. These rates may be modified in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Help build and cultivate relationships with the artist and manager community.

  • Work multi-functionally and optimally with other internal teams to fulfill strategic goals, identifying any gaps and enabling clear partnerships.

  • Support across all genres, developing content and promotional strategies for various programs within each.

  • Build new potential partnership frameworks to support emerging talent.

  • Supervise the administration of fellow teams as it relates to artist campaigns, running end-to-end processes and workflows from ideation to execution.

Experience and Education

  • A current undergraduate student planning to graduate in 2024

  • You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2023

  • You have some knowledge, curiosity about, and passion for learning about the global music landscape, various genres and sub-genres, key players, and artists

  • You have a highly developed passion for content development and the entertainment industry as a whole

  • You have a collaborative, proactive work style

  • Multilingual HIGHLY valued, preferably fluent in Spanish

  • You will work out of our Los Angeles office
