Bumble- College Ambassador, Spring 2024

About Bumble

Bumble Inc. is the parent company of Bumble, Badoo, Fruitz and Official. The Bumble platform enables people to build healthy and equitable relationships, through kind connections. Founded by CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd in 2014, Bumble was one of the first dating apps built with women at the center and connects people across dating (Bumble Date), friendship (Bumble BFF) and professional networking (Bumble Bizz). Badoo, which was founded in 2006, is one of the pioneers of web and mobile dating products. Fruitz, founded in 2017, encourages open and honest communication of dating intentions through playful fruit metaphors. Official is an app for couples that promotes open and honest communication between partners and was founded in 2020.

The moves we make on the outside reflect who we are on the inside. At Bumble, we are a diverse group of kind and growth-minded people, committed to helping our global community find real connections and making the internet a safer space for everyone.

Bumble’s culture is rooted in kindness and respect, and we believe in providing the personal and professional support our team members need to help make mission-driven impact.

About the Program

Make Moves for Good.

Becoming a Bumble Ambassador means joining our mission to foster a world free of misogyny where all relationships are equitable, healthy, and safe. Empower your peers to cultivate meaningful relationships in all areas of life by bringing your campus together through events and activations.

The Bumble Ambassador Program gives you the unique opportunity to expand your network and gain real-world marketing and project management experience. You’ll bring Bumble into your community by planning events, creating content, distributing branded merch, partnering with local businesses, executing engaging stunts, and working with different student organizations. You’ll also work with Bumble HQ employees on local and national campaigns to bring awareness to the Bumble brand and mission.

What do Bumble College Ambassadors do?

  • Make the First Move™: You know your campus best, so you'll have the creative freedom to spot trends, pitch your ideas, and make them a reality. You'll identify opportunities, negotiate partnerships, and host events.

  • Impact Your Community: Build up your community by completing tasks that promote safety, encourage sustainability, and bring awareness to important social issues.

  • Spread the Bumble Mission: Inspire your community to build healthy and equitable relationships in all areas of life while embodying our core values of kindness, honesty, inclusivity, accountability, and growth.

  • Make College a Bit Sweeter: Though being a Bumble Ambassador is a big responsibility, it’s also an opportunity to bring more fun into your life and onto campus. It's so rewarding to watch your community come together and connect through exciting experiences that you made happen.

  • Some of your tasks could look like:

    • Creating social content to build awareness for anything from Bumble’s values to our newest features.

    • Getting students interested in Bumble by capturing their attention around campus and spreading our mission.

    • Hosting events on campus or nearby in partnership with local businesses your campus loves.

And, of course, you’ll have the opportunity to pitch your own ideas tailored to your campus and interests!

Qualifications

  • First Movers: You’re ambitious in all aspects of life, so you’re ready to chase your goals and lead your team to success.

  • Community Leaders: You stay up-to-date with what’s going on in the world and on campus, and can spot opportunities to bring Bumble into the conversation.

  • Connectors: You have a knack for bringing people together, you value inclusivity, and make space for all kinds of voices.

  • Team Players: You know the importance of cultivating meaningful relationships based on kindness and collaboration.
